All are invited to join the Inter-Faith Fellowship on a day trip to visit Mt. Vernon on Thursday, December 5 to see the historic mansion decorated for the season and preserved to 1799, the last year of George Washington’s life. The visit includes the outbuildings where over 50 enslaved men and women worked and the Museum and Education Center with 23 galleries and theatres to learn more about Washington’s life and Mt. Vernon’s enslaved community.

The group will meet at the Chapel parking lot at 9 am to carpool to Mt. Vernon. Drivers will be needed to make this trip possible. Your RSVP and payment of $20 per person admission are due no later than Monday, December 2. You may pay by clicking on the Giving tab above and designating Mt. Vernon when you enter information or you may mail a check to the Chapel. Bring money for lunch, as the group will be dining at the Mount Vernon Inn.
