The Inter-Faith Chapel Mission

      The congregation of The Inter-Faith Chapel has grown out of and has supported a sense of community.  Our fellowship brings us together in a common commitment to serve each other and the world we touch, and is a unifying force in the Leisure World community.

     Our ideal is a fellowship which seeks to express the mind, the spirit and the love of Christ.  The Chapel building is the result of the aspirations and efforts of Affiliates and friends in Leisure World of Maryland.

     The purpose is to provide a house of worship as a witness to the importance of God in the lives of people.  This dream continues to be realized through the voluntary giving of time, talent, effort and treasure.

     One goal of the Chapel is to provide a worship center and place of meeting available to various religious groups in the Leisure World community.

     The cross on the outside wall gives evidence that a  Christian body raised the building as "A house of prayer for all people," which is the legend you see upon entering.
